This cable is to connect your PC to the router. ( both ends are the same).

For accessing internet

Usually a computer will have only 1 port for this to plug in.

 

One end goes in the PC. then the other end goes into the cable modem or the router.

 

Put it into ANY LAN port on the router .

NOT the WAN port.
