Green Blob_v4_Sound
On break from the Ant for a bit while I figure out some better rigging. In the mean time, I built up a little animation using Soft Body physics. The only motion is in X and Z, but that let me focus on making other things better. I didn't texture or even bevel the stairs because, honestly, the physics and shader for the blob pushed my processors pretty close to their limits. I even had to render at 50% resolution just to output the 639 frames in only one day. (I tried messing with the light bounce settings, but my blob suffered.)
I rendered this in Blender at 30fps, but DaVinci, for the sound edits, wouldn't let me render at anything but 24fps without getting weird lines that look like an interlacing problem, even though my interlacing settings are correct.
