Finally!
Yavapai Point, Sedona, Arizona

My first upload from my present (2025) trip to the Southwest. I hadn't been able to download photos from my camera the past week but finally resolved the issue.
In looking over descriptions of the best fairly short trails in the area, most everyone proclaimed the Yavapai Trail to be the best. What it has to offer is a grand sweeping view of Oak Creek Canyon. There are plenty of points where there are better views of the individual buttes, but here you see the majority of them in one fell swoop. This photo encompasses but a small swath of the view. The larger butte is Courthouse Butte and the smaller is Bell Rock (from a different vantage point it really resembles a bell).
I hung out here for about an hour--20 minutes or so of photography and the rest just taking it all in.
This is a Pano combining three photos taken with a 35mm lens.
If someone could comment on the color, I'd appreciate it. My computer, sadly, gives everything a tinge of orange. It isn't blatant and many people on viewing my computer don't even notice, but it IS there. Thus, knowing this, I process a photo until satisfied, and then boost the orange and reds a tad. Trouble is, I can't see what it looks like on a screen without the infernal tinge, I'm just guessing. So, does it look alright to you?
