Mitten Obscured
My first day in Monument Valley was one under cloudy skies--at least for the most part, though for the first two hours, the sun shone through off and on. After that, however, the sun lost its battle and clouds, fog and rain ruled the day. I would have liked to have included the East Mitten (this is the West Mitten), but it was rendered invisible by the fog.
Strangely, I don't recall taking this photo. I remember taking a few photos of other buttes through the fog, but not this one.
