Aspen in the Rockies

This is Southwest of Aspen, Colorado.

 

I'd never been to this part of Colorado before, and I'd never been to any part of Colorado during autumn. I was all but overcome by the sea of yellow that enfolds so much of the mountainsides and valleys in the area. I didn't care for the city of Aspen--too "rich" for my blood--but the area it sits in was crazily beautiful. More photos to eventually follow.
