Indiana Meadow
The day after seeing the Paul McCartney concert in Fort Wayne, I headed for Indiana Dunes National Park right after lunch. On the way, I passed by this meadow and thought it worthy of a photograph. As you can see, it was threatening rain (no surprise THIS spring in the Midwest), which did not bode well for my encounter with Lake Michigan. I ended up tarrying here for an hour as I took a series of self-shots where some woods to the left ended at the meadow. I was expecting the rain to put a literal damper on this endeavor, but I received only a brief sprinkle and the sun was trying to find a path through the clouds. By the time I reached the park, it was sunshine all 'round.
