Transplanted Luthern
This crumbling church was moved from its original location in Ludell, Kansas (not far from Atwood, KS--in the NW corner of the state--as if anyone HASN'T heard of Ludell!) to serve as a barn. Some of the interior structure was sold and removed which weakened it, and now, after a storm, its barely standing. Some other photos show the damage more clearly (see: www.flickr.com/photos/80014607@N05/20526814666/in/datepos... ). I haven't been able to find any other photos of this subject on flickr or the wider net, so I may be the sole discoverer of this spectacle as it now appears. It was just barely visible from State Highway 36 (during my trip to Colorado the summer of 2015), so maybe no ones noticed as yet. If someone CARES to notice, they'd better do it quick as she shan't be standing much longer.
Now, in 2024, I would be very surprised if this were anything more than a pile of sticks.
