Tree Trail Marker~

Hiking the Grand Mesa of Colorado, I came across, what I think might be a "Tree Trail Marker" designed by Native Americans (most likely Ute Indians). It was a common practice back in the day to form trees so they would standout as markers for trails, water, danger,etc.
