One of the first Nationals new to London Transport.

73-C-22 a Leyland National 1051/2R/3001 was parked up on an industrial estate in Cork, Eire on March 15th 2006. Sadly hemmed in at the front I thought this photo was better than nothing. The added bonus was the signwriting on the back panels proclaiming this to b a National Mobile Unit for DL Safety. This bus which was new as London Transport LS6 (TGY 106M) was exported to the Republic of Ireland back in 1987 and was initially used as a mobile library for Cork County Council.
