When the Oxford City Nipper Ford Transits / Carlyle minibuses were replaced by new MCW Metroriders they were eagerly snapped up by independents. Former 728 (C728 JJO) was acquired by Wiltax Taxi Service Ltd, which was based at Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. Seen in the yard at Shanklin Railway Station on August 11th 1991 it was still in City Nipper livery with the addition of the Wiltax name on the back and Shanklin Coaches on the side.
