Vehlcle shortages caused Boro'line Maidstone to hire a number of Roe bodied Leyland Atlantean AN68/1R from Ipswich Buses Ltd from November 1988 to January 1991. In all ten were received but no more than eight were on loan at any time. Seen here at Crayford depot on October 28th 1989 is 4 (HDX 907N) displaying blinds set for the 422 LRT route which ran from Bexleyheath to Woolwich.
