Former Nottingham Lilac Leopard 222 (HNU 122N) last of the
type to remain in service with Maidstone Borough Council was found unloading its passengers at the Queens Monument in the town centre on an overcast day during the spring of 1984. Note the Nile blue and cream livery which was at one time worn by a number of these vehicles. Closer examination will reveal City Flyer publicity carried along the tops of the windows and additionally beneath the chromium trim. This joint service ran between Dover and Blackpool & Colne.
