It was not only the route buses that drew me to Malta. The coaches were interesting too. Seen here in Valletta on September 18th 2007 is Cancu's LCY 874. This Duple 'Dominant ll' bodied Ford R1114 was new in May 1978 and originally registered in the UK as TPC 251S. Its first owner was Hodges Coaches of Sandhurst in Surrey. Export to Malta came by August 1986 following a spell owned by Brinley & Smith, West Bromwich.
