Wilts & Dorset 846 (TRU 846J) was one of the final seven Bristol RE's to see service with the operator. These surviving examples were withdrawn and sold during October 1990. Six were sent to WE North at Sherburn in Elmet for scrap whilst the seventh was much luckier passing to a group of company employees for preservation. Here it is seen arriving at the Royal Victoria Bus Rally which was held in Royal Victoria Country Park, Netley Hampshire on July 12th 1992.
