“What Do You Value?” (Project #5)

My reasoning behind my design was to execute the process of time and development of the domestication of dogs. My three choices of thumbnails that I had before I chose my final idea been music, tattoos, and dogs, I really didn’t have much difficulty choosing my idea because I immediately knew that my Husky Frost was my number 1 in my life.

The highest value bill is the one with the husky, earth, handprint, and dog paw. The values of these moneys are depicted by the “claw marks” in each corner, 3 being the most. The reason why I chose this as the highest value is because at the end of the domestication progress we developed mans best friend. Next to family and friends peoples pets are very important to them.

The second highest value is the bill with 2 “claw marks”, China’s flag, Siberian hut, and the dog’s skull, these images where chosen because evidence was of domestication was found in the country of China. Researchers found bones of the wolf that they noticed were different and had gradual changes compared to other bones and fossils that were found.

The lowest value of the three is the bill with 1 “claw mark”, the wolf, Dome on the Rock, and Israel. These layered images were chosen because our common household pet derived from the wild wolf. The Siberian hut represents my favorite breed (husky) as well as the breed being closet to its cousin the wolf. The Israel cut out shows that it is believed that evidence of domestication may have begun there. Lastly the Dome on the Rock is a famous landmark of Israel that also symbols not only the country but also the beginning of many new things to civilization just as domestication was.
