My work is best described as diverse. I create in response to my personal life and the world around me. The bulk of my work is acrylic paintings but I have a long history of sculpting from stone,paper and bronze. I enjoy the challenges of learning new mediums/styles while honing my skills in preferred styles and mediums. My most prominent style is that of repetition; Repetition of line or using a smaller image to create a unified whole. These repetitions mimic nature, in that a plant,stone, or animal, has its individual place in the world and is also a part of a meadow,quarry or herd. Independence and unity. I am largely self taught and have been creating art for over 25 years. It will be a constant part of my life. Whether I am rich or poor, famous or unknown, it’s value to me will remain priceless.
