David Rose, Paranount's British Chief, entertained Arthur Rank and a party of guests on his first right in Hollywood. This was at the famous "Beach Comber", a restaurant with an Hawaiian atmosphere leaning to unusual dishes. Later the party went on
to "Ciro's" a famous night club, where Mr. Rank was initiated into the night life of the glamour town.
