A surprise repaint into Coventry Transport maroon and cream in 1972 was 26 (KWK 26F) an ECW bodied Daimler Fleetline. The only concession to the era was the new style fleetname and numbers, the maroon engine cover and the beading underneath the lower deck windows being painte maroon instead of black. 28,56 and 57 were similarly treated.
