our visitor is gettting more comfortable with us moving around while he visits

a hundred beats a minute they say

that how with grace we fly this way

we flit and hover to the flowers and feed

the nectar there is all we need

i look at you as if to say

any treats for me as i pass this way

you humans hang out those nectar pots

this migrating means we must drink a lot

the energy we use is vast for our size

and the miles we travel it is no surprise
