COLOUR NOISE

Torenallee

 

Here, your shadow first turns green and then magenta.

It dances in front of you, round and round.

 

The streetlamps on the Torenallee light the street with colours that mix to cast white light. Colours jump, while white light remains; only the shadows seem to transfer from one into the other colour. Everything you see, down to every sprig of grass, is in a colour noise. The installation Colour Noise again shows that light is the sole rightful owner of colour.
