Colon Cancer at Surgical Anatomosis

An 81 year old male with a history of Stage 3 sigmoid colon cancer resected 3 years previously. He refused further treatment including chemotherapy, and was lost to subsequent follow-up. He returns with a lower GI bleeding and found to have a local recurrence at the surgical anastomotic site.
