Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary, West Alton Missouri US
I had to go to Alton Illinois today, so that gave me a good chance to stop off in West Alton, Missouri, at the Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary on the way back. There are a lot of swans there now, and various other waterfowl.A
fter the sun went down, flock after flock came gliding in to this pool.Challenging to photograph from the road, but fun to witness in person.(The surrounding trails are closed off, so the birds won't be disturbed)
