Stretching out for that apple

They walked past me about 6 feet away, then turned around in the middle of my yard. A piece of apple was tossed and in a tense stance she reached for it. The wondered away so I went back to the house, only to see them come back out of the fir trees and finish the corn. As you can see, the grass doesn't grow well this time of year, but the weeds sure do.
