lighting effects

(I realize this is not RE photography per se but it may be helpful to some.)

 

This is an example of HDR... then subtle use of the Lighting Effects filter in PS. It's a great filter once you get the hand of it.

 

Adobe really should make the preview larger so it'd be easier to use. Anyway, this filter can help throw accent lighting on areas that were missed or not thought of at shoot time.

 

On the left is the before, unfiltered version and on the right is the after version.
