Wright Commuter Conversion
Yet another one that's spent many months awaiting completion! This is another client commission which sees the OOC Wright Eclipse 1 converted into the low entry, high floor version christened the Commuter by Wrights.
An interesting concept that never took off with very few hitting the road - one as a demonstrator with Translink, a couple with Stagacoach and other odd examples spotted in Yorkshire and Scotland. According to 'The Wright Way' book, there were only four actually built.
I doubt I will exceed that number of conversions!!
