直島の資料館の窓に並ぶ百円ライターは、おそらく島民の廃品であると思われる。

それを共同施設の意匠として作品化するところに、下道基之氏の着眼点と構成力を感じた。

The disposable lighters lined up in the windows of Naoshima's museum are likely discarded items belonging to the island's residents.

I could sense Shitamichi Motoyuki's keen perspective and compositional ability in transforming these items into a design for a community facility.
