Wheels up?
Every year I try to get a good shot of him with his wheels up and every year I fail. You see, a picture of a tractor during a pull looks like a tractor sitting still unless you can get the wheels up.
So this year I pulled out the 300mm and set up at the end of the track to get the shot. Usually he makes it about 3/4 down the track and that's what I was expecting but instead he smoked out a full pull, wheels not lifting until the very end. By then he was too close and I was frantically trying to back pedal and frame the shot.
Just a little lower and it would have been perfect. Oh well, just like the Cubs, there's always next year.
