Hoylake High Tide: A whoosh of waders!
Well this morning was the most spectacular high tide I've seen. The sun came out at the right time and the huge flocks of waders got about as close as they can reasonably be expected to get! Loads of pics and I'll probably bore folk by putting some up but I really needed video to get over the sound and sight of the vast flocks of Knott, Dunlin, Grey Plover and a few Bar-tailed Gs and Oystercatchers. I was quite envious of all the super cream coloured telephoto lenses that can only mean one thing -Canon millionnaires!
