Made in USA 1901-1913 . For roll film size 101 . Numbers made 20.100 ( ref. Coe) , this camera has serial number 701 .

The No 2 Plico was the UK market version of the Kodak No 2 Flexo .

The camera can be opened by pulling down the catch in the upper edge of the finder window on the front . The front panel turns over , and releases the side panels from the slots .The sidepanels can be unfolded as a whole , giving access to the film compartments.

The word 'plico' ( in ancient Latin ) means 'I fold' ; the word 'flexo' (associated with 'flex') resembles the ancient Latin word 'flecto' meaning 'I bend' .
