Break Neck Beach/ Sandy Beach, Hawaii

Sandy Beach is known as Break Neck beach for a reason. Powerful waves breaking close to the shoreline creates a dangerous situation for novice and experienced boarders alike. This was from the first Southern Swell of the season in May. Hawaii is beautiful.

I could have lightened this image, but the sun was setting and there was this slight yellow to the water. I wanted to present the wave in the setting that it was taken - darker out.
