How Many Rainbows on Haleakala, Maui, Hawaii
How many rainbows do you see here? Do they count since they are not full arches? We headed up Haleakala on Maui real early in the morning from our hotel to watch the sunrise. It was freezing and wet wet wet!! The sunrise was not much to talk about and my camera malfunctioned - I don't think it like the cold wet either. But the rainbows everywhere when the sun rose was awesome. Dancing rainbows since there were so many of them. Notice the cute little Chukar - the partridge like bird in the sun. He was getting warm and dry I suppose. Hopefully we will get to travel back to Maui sometime and explore Haleakala a bit more. This was back in 2011. Aloha
