Tawny Frogmouth

(Podargus strigoides) is not a member of the Owl family. Size: 34-52 cm Weight: up to 680 g

I went outside the other night and found this beautiful Tawny Frogmouth staring back at me, he was not at all scared of me and allowed me to get very close. This is my first attempt at night nature photography. Used Nikon D5000 with 18-55mm VR.
