Conrail Alco C425 5072 {built 12/65 as PRR 2438} Conrail renumbered most remaining C425s in 1979 to the 5000 series to make room for B30-7s that they ordered, but then cancelled.

Most never saw active service with the new numbers. 5072 was photographed here stored at Cleveland, OH in February 1980.
