NS GP38 2943 {built 2/71 as PC 7899} seen here 1/29/2000 at Philadelphia, PA in fresh Conrail paint after accident repairs. Unit was assigned to shared assets & for a time NS repainted a few units assigned there back in Conrail scheme.

This unit was later stenciled "Spirit of Conrail". * Later rebuilt into RP-E4C slug NS 708.
