EMDX 1965 pictured here 11/1965 at Morris Park, NY on the LIRR. built in 2/64 as demonstrator 5661 renumbered to 1964 and displayed at the New York World's Fair, which continued into 1965 resulting in the renumbering of this locomotive to 1965.
After the fair, the 1964/1965 was sold to the New York Central (the only dynamic-brake equipped GP35 on that road), becoming NYC 6155, later PC 2399, later still CR 2399.
