Conrail U36B 2971 at Chicago, Illinois on 10/17/76.
The 4 CR units were originally built for the Auto Train Corporation in 1974, but Auto Train never took delivery of them, & they were fitted with AAR Type B trucks then sold to Conrail in 1976 for $285,000 each . They were all retired in 1991 and traded in to GE.
