Leaders Awards acknowledge success of local companies.At last nights it@cork Leaders Awards (23/10/08) you would have been forgiven for forgetting we were in a recession. The companies awarded were among the fastest growing and global reaching in Ireland. The awards were set up to recognise Leaders in Technology and Business Innovation in Munster. And last nights ceremony proved that the technology sector is still capable of delivering growth in the current economic climate. "We received 68 nominations in all and the standard was fantastic. The number of good projects with great people and strong aspirations should give us confidence that the future of the tech sector in Munster is in good shape." commented Donagh Kiernan of Maidsfield Associates who is chair of the Awards committee
