Sajid to Labuschagne

Spinner Sajid Khan, here bowling, was called into Pakistan's squad after Noman Ali and legspinner Abrar Ahmed were injured. Controversially, Pakistan decided to prioritise their T-20 games in New Zealand and rested ace fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi who had bowled 100 overs in the preceding two tests - a decision lambasted by former Pakistan fast bowling greats Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis.

The batter, Marnus Labuschange's series was helped by twin 60's in this match, one not out, scoring 207 runs at an average of 41.4. That's a tad less than his lofty career standard of nearly 4000 runs at 52.5.

Everything's in pink as this is the pink Test which supports funding for breast care nurses across Australia. Glenn McGrath's first wife died from the disease and since 2009, Cricket Australia, Sydney Cricket Ground and the McGrath Foundation have worked together, raising more than $22 million. It's well received by the Sydney crowd. While this was day 4 of the Test, on day 3, people are encouraged to dress in pink to honour Jane McGrath day. This year there was a larger crowd on day 3 than on the opening day.
