Former Scotland Yard

The red brick building was the headquarters of the Metropolitan Police before they moved to a new site near St. James's Park Station.

There were two entrances, one on Victoria Embankment (shown here) and the other just off Whitehall on the far side. New Scotland Yard is the name of the street on the Whitehall side.
