Was released by the hand surgeon today, he says yes, my finger will stay bent like that, if I hadn't had the pin it would have been much worse. He's pleased with my ability to close my hand but says I will not get much range of motion back in the DIP joint due to scar tissue and the lack of extensor tendon.
