Twi'lek - Hoth
Strobist: Taken using a large softbox on camera left set at about f18. The majority of the light fell on the left side of the face and I made sure there was a small triangle of light on the right cheek under the eye like in Rembrandt lighting. I used a smaller softbox on the right to fill some of the shadow created by the main softbox. Not sure what that was set at now, I'm afraid.
Editing: The background is Finse (a skiing area in Norway where the Hoth scene from the Empire Strikes Back was filmed) and was free to share. I modified the headdress, eyes, makeup (purple), tattoos (eyes, lip and neck), irises, skin colour and lekku (tentacles at the rear of a Twi'lek's head) in Photoshop to create the image.
