Mittel-IV Dio 2
On a dusty road in a far away territory the Merthan government secures it's interests. Durable, and relatively quick for a 40+ ton medium tank the Mittel-IV is capable of operating in warmer climates as shown here. Hastur was content with the field trials of the tank, but the government sill continued with the order of a heavy tank of over 50 tons to ensure the fish people race's dominance over the filthy human world. We needed a tank with heavier armor, and an 88mm main gun. Project Hund entered development shortly after the cleansing of this land (I'm 50% finished with a Tiger tank.)
This is an upgraded Panzer-4 based roughly off of a model I saw a while ago. Both the hull, and the turret were real prototypes but they never got off the ground, and never were intended to be used on the same vehicle. It would be somewhat between a Panzer 4, and Panther in regards to armor protection.
