Öland Class Submarine Cruiser

I'm having to sit perfectly straight with ice on my back, tore something in my back while exercising.

It is agonizing but I'm not going to let it stop me.

I could have put more effort into this but I honestly could bother. I have 2 other creations I need to work on that wont be finished anytime soon, and I'm tired at the moment with LDD, although it wont stay that way.

The Öland Class was produced by Heimdallr Engineering at the request of the Lord of the Armada Lucas Gusenburg as a heavy submersible intended to slip by enemy defenses, and engage in surface combat against small ships, or ground targets using her large 8 inch guns. It is named after the northern Öland province of the Dominion known for its fertile farmland, and large crop production.

This submarine is also equipped with a small hanger to carry up to 2 small inflatable observation balloons and a motorboat.

Aircraft mounting was intended but proved to troublesome for use after a pilot died when an aircraft snapped in half due to unknown reasons. The aircraft was believed to have been caught on the trim, and when the aircraft snapped the pilot was impaled on one of the fossilized teeth of giant prehistoric sharks that line the hull as he fell out of it. This trimming has claimed the lives of many sailors one way or another in the name of looking fabulous. Ships in the future will likely have even more thanks in part to our generous museums that so gratuitously donated them to the government after they were taken over by new management... The older directors mysteriously disappeared after allowing slanderous documents about the propaganda ministry to be published by a professor, Good riddance!

The guns are fed from a magazine holding 60 rounds, and controlled by a director with a 5m rangefinder, mounted high enough to view a 11 km horizon, and able to fire within three minutes after surfacing. "Or less, and more for balancing"

The ship is also equipped with 4 torpedo tubes, a 88mm deck gun, and 4 25mm autoguns for aircraft, and "rowboat defense."

It has a range of 10,000+ miles, and can stay at sea for up to 90 days. Quality food is served including bread, and soup.

These often have been nicknamed by the crews as salty rust buckets as an affectionate name I suppose due to how happy sailors are in these. Due to conditions sailors also tend to be harder, and meaner. There had been reports at times of men wearing antique pangenhelms, and standing on deck with axes but these are probably just rumors spread by Frankenmengele, and his terrorists to slander relations further with our western neighbors.
