Mystery Flock VII
Probably my final upload from California. Try as I might, I was unable to get a single good picture of passerines on that trip (at least not good enough to upload to Flickr). I was able to get 12 lifers on the trip, so that was good, but unfortunately the birds didn't want to get photographed.
So here's the mystery flock. Probably my favorite moment of the trip, all these birds were focus on the smelt going into the rivers to spawn. So let the guessing begin, there are 10 species in the picture!
