eBird Doc Shot: Franklin's Gull

Here the bird is standing with RBGU in a field at the Bald Eagle SP Swimming Beach. Note the dark hood, obvious white eye arcs, red bill, pinkish breast, and wing pattern.

 

On further research, this is approximately the 33rd PA state record and only the third ever for central PA (2nd for Centre county).
