Rufous Hummingbird (in banding trap)!

This bird here represents the 3rd record of this species in Centre county and a new state bird for me! Earlier today, a birder in nearby Lemont reported a hummingbird at her feeders. I was able to quickly arrive at the yard and see the bird before it flew off. I returned later in the afternoon the see the bird get banded. Upon arriving at the house, I was delighted to see that the bird had just been trapped! After a little while in the trap, the bird was removed and banded.
