This stood east of the main terminal along I-70 about where the east terminal is today, It was a well known site and landmark in the area easily seen as you drove by on I-70. In the 1950's to early 1960's you could easily spot TWA's Lockheed Constellation airliners here. By 1972 it was all Boeing 707's, 727's and Lockheed L1011's
