Make a wish upon a tree
Shot somewhere in Austria, don´t remember the place. I tested a new postproduction technique, hope you like it.
The technique is called "creating depth by colours", in short: 1) warm up the whole image with a whitebalance of 7500 K 2) add a blue/magenta nd filter between 0,3 and 0,6 for the sky 3) enhance the orange glow in the horizon with the correction brush in ACR (or any other tool in PS) by adding some additional orange/yellow/red (depending on the original image colour).
For a full tutorial watch the video tutorial of french photographer Serge Ramelli - who speaks english
You see that though the composition of my image is poor, this colour technique saves the image from being thrown into the dustbin. It is one of several techniques graphic designers use. It is also a technique used in filmproduction.
