Another Year, Another Nest

Chickadee Nest in one of our Bluebird boxes. I had seen them going in and out so I suspected they were building their nest. The Chickadees always make nests with soft dried grasses, moss and downy feathers. They look so comfortable. I have had Chickadee nests in this box before. Last year some birds- probably the Chickadees vandalized the Bluebird nest and tossed all the eggs out on the ground. I hope the Bluebirds will nest in our other box and they can all get along together!
