slow leak - 9041

i should have fixed this sooner when i first seen corrosion ,, but as time goes ,,, it get worse and worse to leak ..

 

the housing had thick hard crusted corrosion all around it as thick as 1/16 inch .. i read that as any water begin to intrude slowly ,, the corrosion begins and over time just get worse to leak ,, in addition when you remove all the corrosion ,, the aluminum metal is also pitted .. the rubber oem hose still looks good but i put on a new hose, housing and new thermostat .. to last another 25 years ..
